Our annual Kids fishing clinic was a huge success this year (2011) The chapter provided all the fishing gear for the kids ages 3-12 to catch some nice trout provided by Washington Department of Wildlife (thank you WDFW!). This event was free to all children and funds for the event were the provided by the chapter from funds raised at our semi- annual Banquette and Auction. The sun was out and the fish were biting, we had 12 big ones stocked and about 1000 smaller rainbow trout. At one point we had all of our fishing rods out and the kids were catching like crazy. It was a busy dock to say the least, but a good time was had by all. The chapter hosts this event every year, we have been doing it for over 25 years. Next years event will be on the first Saturday of June. Thanks to all the North-shore members and other volunteers who helped make a great day for all the kids who came out. Thanks to our NSTU photographers Sid Burklund, Chris Tompkins and Lorelei Begalka for these great pictures.
