North-shore TU Kids Fishing Clinic 2012

The chapter recently hosted the 2012 Kids fishing clinic at Tracy Owen Station in Kenmore.  The kids were in full force, it was a great day.  We estimated that about 200 kids turned out for the annual event. There were lots of happy faces and everyone seemed to have fun catching the stocked trout.  Thanks to all our volunteers that helped make this years event a success, it was a lot of fun.  Thanks also to the WDFW for suppling the trout, several of the fish were over 5 lbs.  We plan to host the event again next year in early June, check back for announcements.  This is a great event to introduce kids to fishing.
Here are some photos of this years event.
